She's backkkkkk! I originally made this blog a few years ago when I first started by Bookstagram account but haven't used it in a few years. I really want to get back into create blog posts and using this as a platform where I can create content that can't always be shared to Instagram. 

I am aiming to share book reviews, trope recommendations, romance sub-genre recommendations and just generally talk all things books!

The "one of them is famous" girlies are going to go crazy for this one.  I eat this trope up every time and If Not for My Baby by Kate Golden was no different. Clementine gets the opportunity to go on tour with popular artist Halloran and neither of them can deny the chemistry between them.  It is a slowish burn in terms of the relationship between them and I swear I was going to combust when they did their first performance of "If Not for My Baby" together.  One of my favourite parts of this book were the original songs/lyrics that were used throughout. "Sweet as honey from the bee, is my fruit from the evergreen tree. Voice of a swallow, just as free, I only hear music when she's with me." Plus let's be real, the Hozier vibes were strong in this book and I am 1000% here for it.
